What is Embedded Systems

Embedded systems is a specialized area of software development that focuses on creating software for small, low-power devices, such as microcontrollers and sensors, that are integrated into larger systems.  It requires a deep understanding of hardware architecture and real-time constraints, as well as a variety of programming languages and tools, such as C/C++, assembly language, and cross-compilers.
