What is Limbo

Limbo is a systems programming language that was developed by Bell Labs for use in the Inferno operating system.  Limbo supports features such as lightweight threads, channels, and a flexible type system, making it easy to write robust and scalable software. It also provides libraries for accessing system resources, such as files and network sockets, and supports remote procedure calls and other distributed computing paradigms.
